Dear Diary,
Today I got so many compliments on my new dress. I tried so hard to not get it dirty, but I got a little smudge on the hem. I'll have to clean off tomorrow when I wash clothing. Like I wrote yesterday, I was going to clean the queen's chamber! Here's exactly how it went:
"Kasey, take this feather duster and go to the queen's chamber. You know how it works." Jen is Head Maid said sternly at me. She never smiles. Never. Just because she's the head of all maids.
"Ok," I said.
"Go, now!" Jen is Head Maid yelled.
I walked through the great hallway and took a left, never a right. I opened the door and went straight to the desk. I dusted around the papers. I dusted the ink bowl and the pen holder when I something caught my eye. It was adoption papers. The names were colored in with black. This is what it said:
Adoption of Alamack
Adoption Papers
Adoption of K y R e

I wonder who it is for? Who's parents will be freed? Who's going to be sent away? Who will it be?
I guess I have been in there for hours. Jen is Head Maid yelled at me for messing around. Well, I must go. I wonder who the papers are for?
Cool post! The book seems interesting.
